This is ridiculous. Please correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't that hand signal also mean "I love you" in sign language? And I know for sure that musicians use it in a "Rock on!" kind of way. Heck, I was in a metal band in high school and that was a thing...I don't know. The thumb screws it all up.
