Re: do you believe Seeing is believing?
I never watch tv either...I have no idea if this is a new show or if it is some rerun they've played 100 times.

I wish I could give a link instead of trying 2 explain it.

they are basically talking about how your brain tricks you and fills in information that isn't actually there. right now they are talking about the con man Frank Abagnale Jr and Mr Ponzi who the ponzi scheme is named after

it's pretty interesting on how easily we are fooled.

I'm sure that the people in power obviously know how to work this

Re: do you believe Seeing is believing?
No, I do not. There is such a thing as holograms. Saw one on TV. If I didn't know Elvis had died, I would have sworn he was on stage with Celine Dion singing a duet with her. Makes you wonder what else we've been "seeing" and believing, but is false.

Yes, that's a cool show, who knew. I liked the one about color and the way we perceive it.

With the quality of CGI these days it's best to keep an open mind when "seeing" things.

yeah!

I love the optical illusion one with the spinning ballerina. it always trips me out when my brain thinks she is changing direction.
