These are the people that we rely on to solve crimes, and keep criminals off the streets.

The fact is that this sort of stupidity is rampant from the federal to the state and local level. We are so screwed.

Sounds like the old guy might have had artifacts confiscated because they didn't fit with the authorized version of history.

Here artifacts that prove Maori weren't the first people in nz are filed away and lost or they're handed over to Maori authorities never to be seen again.
If it's an archeological site that contradicts authorized 'history' then the site is quickly bulldozed over and destroyed.
