"Before the stabbing Clayton J. Courtney, 28,said, "I've already killed three people tonight. We're all going to die," according to police.

Police said Courtney was covered in mud and blood when he was arrested and the mud was not consistent with the scene on Pontiac Drive where he was arrested.

Investigators also said Courtney claimed to drink and do drugs under the Milwaukee Street bridge."

First body found.

UPDATED Monday, May 5, 2014 --- 11:10 a.m.

Janesville Police say the body found near the Rock River early Monday morning is that of a woman, and they are investigating to see if the death is connected to Clayton Courtney.

JANESVILLE--Authorities pulled a body from the Rock River near the Monterey Dam at about 6 p.m. Friday.

Sgt. Mark Ratzlaff said a firefighter waded into the water and retrieved a body. The body has not be identified.

“At this time, we don't know who,” Ratzlaff said.
