Former IMF chief economist calls for European Union army
The European Union must pull closer together and establish a strong military presence, so it can act as a “moral anchor” to the United States, the economist Kenneth Rogoff has warned.

Closer integration would help Europe survive another financial disaster, such as a dramatic slowdown of the Chinese economy, but would also help to keep the existing super powers in check.

“For the sake of the world we need Europe to integrate, to counterbalance the United States, to be able to step in in geopolitical terms,” he told The Telegraph. “You can’t just depend on the US to do everything, especially as China rises, as Russia rises.”

He also argued that the EU needed its own military capability, adding: “The events in the Ukraine are kind of frightening from that point of view.”

Kenneth Rogoff seems to be concerned about the rising nationalism and how it will affect foreign rule of Europe.

Ukrainian Oligarchs. What is the most disturbing trends in Ukraine is that the wealthiest people control business, media, and hold major positions of political power. They are also non ethnic Ukrainians.

I thought there was one already.

Western European Union (WEU)

The Western European Union (WEU), is the military arm of the European Union. Its maniac destiny, un-baptised in fire, is to fight Jacque Delors' "resource wars of the twenty first Century", and establish international supremacy.

The extent and nature of the Roman Empire cannot be repeated. The reasons for this are multiple. The more important of these, by themselves are sufficient to render another European empire a nightmare. The existence of other potential and existing rival imperial powers alone suggests military conflict on a global international scale. The will of nations to exercise democratic political independence through powers of the nation state is much stronger than any patchwork of federal empire.

Look, if the twentieth century has shown us anything it has revealed the fact that Europeans can't seem to function without offing each other by the millions. Perhaps a unified European Union, managed by the superior Anglo-Americans my be the right way to go.

If you do some research you will quickly discover that the Anglo-Americans seem to dominate in every field, especially Nobel Prize recipients.

“Europe’s nations should be guided towards the superstate without their people understanding what is happening. This can be accomplished by successive steps, each disguised as having an economic purpose, but which will eventually and irreversibly lead to federation.”

Jean Omer Marie Gabriel Monnet (French: [ʒɑ̃ mɔnɛ]; 9 November 1888 – 16 March 1979) was a French political economist and diplomat. He is regarded by many as a chief architect of European unity[1

But shouldn't the world be ruled by the intelligent? The Anglo-Americans have 467 Nobel Laureates. Western Europeans can't come close to matching that. In addition, due to our respective superior intelligence, we Anglo-Americans have a long history of creating/running egalitarian systems of government.
