Hit the end of my rope, need some hope.
ok, so here is the short version...

Bad news is, I have leukemia.
Good news is, I have a great wife and 2 young boys that love me more then anything.

I have a white blood cell count that runs around 300,000. The doc said since I was still able to work and basically functional, he would hold off on chemo and just monitor me. Good choice by him as I will not be participating in the death sentence known as chemo. I have gotten some solid advice from people here and other places. And a lot of prayers. These things have helped me keep this in check, reduce the white blood cell count and lower the lymph node swelling.

Life was going well until pneumonia put me in the hospital. We lost 3 paychecks and our savings were used up quickly. I am working full time and arranged a guarantee with my employer to cover the slow spots at work.

Bottom line is, I can still hold my own and provide for my family if I can just get back on solid ground. I have never been on EBT, welfare or disability. As long as I can still move, I will work. It's all I have ever known. I am at the end of my rope. We have already sold anything we had of value and money around here is so tight that side work is hard to come by. The only thing I had left was to swallow my pride and give crowd funding a shot.

My religious point of view is something I can't talk about. It goes against my belief system to talk publicly about my own spiritual beliefs.

OP, I know people have told you otherwise and you've read otherwise on places about how horrible Chemo is, but take these words of advice: Do what saves your life.

Chemo sucks. It's hell. I've watched close loved ones go through it to kill cancer and get it out of their bodies. They lived on after the suffering and are good to go today hoping it never comes back.

Your wife and two young boys won't care if you read all this awesome medical advice and chose not to use modern medicine as a moral or justified stand against what the medical community profits from if you aren't there to tell them about it anymore.

It's time to forget all the conspiracy or other things you've read B.S. that is great when it applies to others and do what is best for you. Take the chemo, be so strong that the therapy can't kill you, as many others have had to do, and live a long and happy life in remission. There is no point in taking the road less traveled if you die at the end of it.

Thanks for the advice. Right now what I am doing works and I plan to keep it up. When the time comes that it is no longer optional... I can't honestly say what I will do when staring death in the face.

OP, chemo is death. Period.

Start getting proper nutrition from a naturopathic doctor ASAP. Get as much sunlight and spring water.

The minute you start on the chemo, you start the one year slow death dance, and the damn doctors and big pharma profit as they poison you.

Cancer is a damn business so smarten up before even considering that chemo bullshit.

Get another opinion on your blood work. Don't fall for that medical trickery.
Use some critical thinking and research chemo yourself. Those cancer doctors are slicker than car salesman when they start their sales pitch.

Re: Hit the end of my rope, need some hope.
OP, let me share my Mother’s story with you.

Back in the early 70’s when my Mother was 35 years old she was diagnosed with breast cancer. We lived near New Orleans and Charity Hospital the Teaching Hospital.
They had an experiment using vitamin C and positive visualization to overcome the cancer, she was fortunate enough to be allowed to participate.

They had her take vitamin C until the dosage gave her diarrhea, then she was to back off 1 pill and take the amount less one every day for a full month. She did this along with visualizing her cancer cells being eaten by white cells that looked like Pac Men. She also was told to visualize her cells as healthy, pink and vibrant, and that all of the weathered cancer cells were eaten by the white cells.

They gave her pictures of healthy tissue and of cancerous tissue to aid in her positive visualization. She did the vitamin C and positive visualization for almost a year, cancer just disappeared, gone. They did no surgery nor any other care or procedure on her.

I must tell you however, she did die of cancer of the liver at the age of 57. She had been depressed for a year prior to the diagnosis, and had a sever back injury that caused her to take Tylenol every day, all day, until it poisoned her liver.

Just sharing, we hear every day of cancer simply going into regression or disappearing like my Mothers. I pray that you see and hear what I am sharing with you. God Speed.

Thanks for the comments on the chemo.
Like I said, what I have been doing has made a difference. It shows in the blood work. Even the doc said to keep it up. And yes, I did get a second and third opinion on the diagnosis.

you don't need nutrition, nutrition is bad for cancer if you are nourishing the tumors.

Cannabis oil. Look it up and listen to interviews. That would be the only thing I would do if faced with cancer. Go to that guy who was on tv, now does radio, Ben Swann. He has an a couple interviews with a gal named Shonda, and there is a video. It does not take thousands of dollars. Just add the dot com after his name and you can find it.

Best to you!

Re: Hit the end of my rope, need some hope.
Adopt a low carbohydrate diet and/or fast until your body heals itself (no alcohol either). Cancer is a metabolic disease. Doing so will starve the cancer out. Dr. Atkins cited Russian research showing that cancer could not spread except in the presence of elevated glucose levels. Get his book "New Diet Revolution"

Foregoing carbs is tough, fasting is tougher, but chemo is way worse.
