I've signed up for all those "Do not mail" lists and nothing seems to work. There are only 3 things I receive by mail once a year that I actually want/need, that being my W2 from work, the tax statement from my mortgage company, and the tax statement from the university I attend. Everything thing else is bullshit advertisements, flyers and coupons....I am sick of all this shit coming to my house. So I am taking matters into my own hands this weekend. I am crafting a new mailbox with a lock on the flap and a very thin slot that only allows normal sized envelopes to be dropped in. Anyone have any other ideas I might be able to use? Has anyone else succeed in getting their bullshit mail stopped. If it wasn't for the tax statements I would rip the whole god damn box off all together. Lets all join together to say FUCK THE USPS! WE DON'T NEED YOU!  |

When you do it, you may get a nastygram in the box from your USPS courier that says something like: "This mailbox is federal property of the United States and must meet certain minimum requirements which yours does not. You are hereby notified to rectify this situation with seven (7) days or be fined $250/week until resolved." |

ROFL over the Winter I got i nice little note from the postman that said something like "shovel your walkway so the mail carrier can get to your box." which I in turn wrote on the back "Neither rain, sleet, nor snow will stop the USPS. It's in your motto, do your fucking job!" needless to say the walkway was shoveled in the next two days. and it wasn't me who did it. |
