I'm eating normal foods. Cereal, had enchilada for lunch and potato chips. I'm broke, negative broke, until tomorrow.

I'm not a doctor or medical staff or anything, but I've had some stomach disturbance/pain in the last months.

When I get it, I drink water with some baking soda in it. I don't know if this would be ok for you because I am not familiar with your medical stuff.

I've been wondering (for me) if it has anything to do with sitting next to my wifi. Call me crazy.

Are you allergic to wheat by any chance?

Maybe, but my left side did hurt INSANELY...

I feel a little gassy, but that's normal. I feel like my stomach is constantly growling at me.

As opposed to their good food. Sorry. I really hope you do feel better.

Have same thing just started last month. Doctor said was ibs but many people are getting it same time weird

If you are in your 30's-40's and a little overweight
and Taco Bell is your restaurant of choice, you
may be having a gall bladder attack...that is ususally
felt on the left side.
If it gets an infection going, you could get that
bouncing back and forth pain. If you have any
antibiotics I'd be taking them until you can get
checked. It is it Gall bladder, it's nothing to
dink around with--you need medical care. If
you actually pass a stone and your are male....you
could get a blockage down there (that is really bad!)

I'm just giving my opinion, so keep that in mind, because you should go to a doctor for solid advice…

But, because you have pain from one side to the other, your large colon runs across your upper abdomen and when, well, when you don't poo enough, you could have a slagging of the colon there which pulls and causes pain. The fact that your stomach is making noises could be your intestines trying to move that along, and it may be hung up (think hammock) in a swaying large colon (where it goes across from one side to the other).

If you can, drink lots of water (but not too much as to over hydrate yourself and get into electrolyte problems). Don't take a laxative because it will cause your system to rush water into your intestines and, the way it sounds, your poo may be stuck up top in the large intestine, so you'll only get cramps and not a successful toilet time.

Also, if you can--and this is a good one: Try to lie down with your entire body at a slant with your head lower. I don't mean putting pillows under you legs, you need to put two cinder blocks or two stacks of books at the feet at the foot of your bed so your entire body is at a slant, with your head lower.

This will ease the pulling on your large intestines and will allow your grumbling, working intestines to move it along. But drink water to make those efforts easier for your body to do so.

If this isn't your problem, maybe someone else can benefit from it, it's just my way of trying to help you out, and it was the best opinion I have for you! Feel better, and take care and get yourself checked, too!

It is your spleen, you have a mild blood infection, take cayenne capsules and call me in the morning

I don't think it's appendicitis or cholecystitis (gallbladder disease). Both are on the right side of the body. Left flank would be descending/sigmoid colon, and if something gets backed up there, that might be contributing to the back and forth pain.

I think there's a GI bug going around. My co-workers and I are having/have had similar symptoms lately. Not fun. Be careful what you eat.. I hope you feel better soon.
