I guess I was in denial about the fact that even if he genuinely wanted to keep those promises (look at the video in the original post for evidence), the fact is that Kennedy was the last real American president, that fact was what I hadn't come to grips with.

These elections are just a show for the tards, because it does not matter who is elected. All your presidents will work for the banks and the industrial complex, not for you.

After the first "election", I had a bad feeling. I tried to shake it off, told myself, maybe I'm wrong, maybe it will be okay. I was sure after the horrible first 4 years people would have sense enough to throw him out. I couldn't believe he was "re-elected". I have grave doubts the higher ups are actually elected.

Voted for him once. First time round, in lieu of Hillary after she was dumped by the DNC for the Dark Lord. Second time round, we already knew what he was and what he was doing. Besides, his wife is as big an embarrassment to the country as he is - maybe larger!

That is not the point.

The key to understand the system is that people are upset when they only have one candidate/one dictator. So they decided to let you vote, every 4 years, one puppet they control, to give you the illusion of choice. This illusion is the key element of the modern western system, you can find it everywhere.

You can decide coke or pepsi, McD or Burger King, but your decision does not matter at all, because the shares of the companies are owned by the very same elite.

The western system makes us happy slaves, because we falsy believe to be free, we falsy believe we have got a choice. Behind the curtains the western system is just a despotism ruled by the same people that ruled for example in the soviet system.

No I'm not ashamed. Every candidate I've voted for since 1976, and all of those I didn't vote for, have been opportunistic swine who were only looking after their own interests. That's just how it goes in this wonderful system of ours. If someone suggest that Ted Cruz, or Rand Paul, or Marco Rubio is any different, spit on them.

Don't trust any of them, or expect them to give a shit about you.

I am ashamed that I voted him in 2008, but I felt there was no other choice. I was (and am) one of those so sickened by the Bushes and their cronies (especially GWB and Cheney) and their role in 9/11 and the resulting war that I would have voted for ANYONE that had a chance of winning over the Republicans.

However, I now think that Obama was 99.9999% as bad as GWB, etc., and I think the U.S. will NEVER recover from the past fourteen years, which makes me absolutely furious and sad in equal measure.
