hes claiming that it runs fine and that he heard other people report that they were getting 200 mpg. now if that's even remotely true, no engine maker in the world should have an excuse to not re-engineer it.

anyone know the year of the truck it is carbureted and would have a mechanical fuel pump not electric my 2c

back in the 80's , there was a little device that was hooked to the carburetor , and got 250 miles a gallon, it was created by GM , then then it was gone, never heard anything about it again

well he showed his fuse panel and claimed he had it unplugged but otherwise you are right

Not saying the concept isn't sound, but him stalling the engine by covering the air intake is not proof that truck is running solely on petrol vapors

But....why did the engine keep running when he removed the cover to the air cleaner? (that would have totally removed the vacuum needed to pull the vapors into the engine).

It's not new. Yes it works. I can be done to fuel injected or carbureted engines. Acceleration is not as quick. There are plenty of kits available.
Yes you can also use water. You can also eliminate fuel with magnets.

This guy will be burning his engine out... quench, fuel mixture (lean), etc. will all prematurely end the engine life...

The ONLY accurate system I have seen is when a university experimented with creating nano injectors for fuel supply. HP went through the roof as did fuel efficiency...

He's going to kill himself making a left just before a semi comes barreling ahead; the engine will stall out because the continuity of the vapors was lost for a split second.

What if instead of having the air going through the gas to make bubbles you don't put the air intake tube through the gas and have an aquarium bubbler to make the gas instead

Sounds like a fishy idea.
