Imam Magid studied with his father, Al-Haj Majd Haj Mosa, described by one watchdog website as “a Cairo-trained Muslim Brotherhood scholar” who has served as the top cleric in the Republic of the Sudan, one of the most Sharia-adherent nations in the world.
