Rest in Peace for Christian families in mosul :p

May Pope have mercy upon my butcher, because Jesus won't

I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine.

As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep.

The catholic church horrifically tortured people in chambers underneath the Vatican for over centuries.

How do you reconcile these atrocities being a catholic and what do you think Jesus himself would have thought of an action such as this?

Lord of the lords FTW

You mass murder the people, create famine, fear & poverty for others, you create Evil in the name of Allah. who is responsible for all this catastrophe?

Is it Allah who commands you to murder, pillage & to destroy?
Is it you the followers of Allah who do this in his name?
Or is it both?

There is no doubt we are a church of sinners, and many crimes have been committed, (though not these torture chambers!) but I take heart in the fact that God does not abandon us, instead showing mercy and repaying our faith with continued blessings.

Jesus promised that the gates of hell would not prevail against His church. When I read a lot of the posts on this thread from the extreme Catholic haters, I recognize that even though hell won't ultimately prevail, it's obviously getting very close.

Well I am sure your a much better person than those individuals at the top of the catholic church. They used torture to evoke confessions. Nothing to do with any connection to god. Just a gross misinterpretation. I do hope that god or Jesus wouldn't turn the other cheek and repay torture with blessings.

U.N address by Fr Tomasi:

"In his Pilgrimage to the Holy Land, Pope Francis demanded that the present unacceptable situation of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict be brought to an end.[1] “For the good of all,” he said, “there is a need to intensify efforts and initiatives aimed at creating the conditions for a stable peace based on justice, on the recognition of the rights of every individual, and on mutual security. The time has come for everyone to find the courage to be generous and creative in the service of the common good, the courage to forge a peace which rests on the acknowledgment by all of the right of two States to exist and to live in peace and security within internationally recognized borders.”[2] The legitimate aspiration to security, on one side, and to decent living conditions, on the other, with access to the normal means of existence like medicines, water and jobs, for example, reflects a fundamental human right, without which peace is very difficult to preserve."

No, prayer goes into God's ear, it is always the best and most effective thing to do, and it will lead to peace, you will see.

Jesus won't return until the end of the world, so I don't think any of us should wait for that until we gather our spiritual balls and believe peace is possible.
 Quoting: #KK#

We're at the end of time.

"For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then shall sudden destruction cometh upon them..."

It'd be pretty to think you were right. But God is telling us what has already happened in His world.. to us it's prophecy. And please don't take any of this to mean I don't believe in prayer. My son is walking today because of prayer. He suffered a C4-5 subluxation and was totally paralyzed from the neck down. I believe in prayer!

God bless!

For ye cannot find the depth of the heart of man, neither can ye perceive the things that he thinketh: then how can ye search out God, that hath made all these things, and know his mind, or comprehend his purpose? Nay, my brethren, provoke not the Lord our God to anger.

The End of this Age fast approaches!!!

On Sunday, 8th of June 2014 [Day 9 Month 3 Year 6000] Shimon Peres and Mahmoud Abbas met with Pope Francis, at the Vatican, to pray for peace in the Middle East!!!

We've since been on a 50 Day countdown since the 9th of June 2014!

Thread: The Year of Redemption [15th October 2015 - 8th September 2016]

We've seen the rise of ISIS, war in the Middle East, and now we are on the brink of World War III!

And it just so happens that the CORRECT Day of Pentecost falls on the 27th/28th of July 2014!!!

[link to www.timeanddate.com]

I believe Obama's foretold 42 Months will begin on the 28th of August 2014 [Day 1 Month 6 Year 6000]

The stage has been set!

All the persons of the Final Act are in place!

And now the greatest show of this Age is about to begin!!!

The church waited 700 years past the inquisition to officially outlaw church torture in 1816. Why wouldnt they have done that... oh maybe 1 year after they began eliciting torture for confessional purposes? 1 day after, 1 minute after? It doesnt make sense to you and it doesnt make sense to me since we are relatively rational and good people. And it sure as hell would not make sense to Jesus that a church founded in his name would do this.

I wish the papacy would just stop provoking God. The pope's good friend and henchman Tony Palmer trying to unite the church already died on Sunday. Tony Palmer claimed to be ordained by God according to the prophecied spirit of Elijah.

Thread: Terrible blow against one world religion, God's wrath kills Pope Francis' ally

Coindidently he died on 20 July, the feast day and commemoration of Elijah according to the RCC liturgical calender. Synchronicity or a sign?
