What the hell did I come in here for?
Please give me your feedback on this subject. I am not aware of any particular studies that incorporates this theory, but...

Is it possible, that when you spend too much time in one room, your senses become dulled by the continuous "rebooting" (if you will)of the same stimulus to the brain. This occurring, the assault that then happens to your senses when you finally do go into another room to [get something], could be so great, that it immediately clears your mind of anything you were thinking of before. I would like to think that this occurs more often in homes that decorate each room in a distinct theme, than those who don't.
