Christ: The Greatest Teacher who ever lived- If you were in his presence 2,000 years ago, what might you like to ask him?

Then I'd want to listen to him tell some cool stories and share some wisdom while I sat and ate snacks.

So a ransom is an EXCHANGE wherein something is LOST. So if your child is kidnapped, and you pay a ransom (money) you either lose the money or your child (if you refuse to pay). In any event, you do not get to keep BOTH.

So please explain how Jesus died for all of humanity (ransom) and yet was resurrected - where is the loss?

Because as the only other perfect human that walked the earth, he, being sinless, was not under the penalty of death, he had the right to continue living on earth forever, he forfeited that right, and gave his life to buy back the race of humanity that were under the penalty of death

So he exchanged HIS right to live on earth - he paid the ransom price,.......

Jesus was a pretty good teacher. He's up there with a few others.

I would ask him "Why?" Why are we going through all of this misery? Is there a point to all of this? Why does he let evil people rule the world? Why he made us all so stupid?

That is why He gave his life, the first step in undoing all the wickedness on earth, when He rides that white horse, depicted in Revelation - symbolizing righteous warfare, and he comes off the victor, all wickedness will be removed, the destruction of all evil with be swift and final

A "better" explanation would be a subjective one, so really the best explanation is the one you like the most.
