will interesting to hear from those that have been denying, for months, that the Not-A-Nazi Ukrainian Nazi's have had no influence on what is happening today, including the completely inept leadership of the war.

Or that they are just a "Tiny Minority".

translation of the Yarosh/Right Sector statement:


"Today - along with Russian aggression - internal counterrevolutionary forces have intensified in Ukraine. The Ministry of Interior is being headed by a Moscow protege, General Evdokimov. His intent is to destroy the Ukrainian voluntary movement - "Right Sector". Therefore, we appeal to the President of Ukraine to immediately restore order in the Ministry of Interior, fire all representatives of anti-Ukrainian forces, and to launch criminal investigations into their activities."

"In addition, we demand the release of all detained members of "Right Sector", stay of criminal proceedings against them and return of all transport and seized weapons."

"If our demands are not met within 48 hours, we will take all of our units from the front lines, mobilize our reserve battalions and march on Kiev in full battle gear."

So who's issue is this exactly? It's very confusing

Thank you for posting. I've been following this since February. So now we not
only have confirmation that neo-nazis are the frontline troops, but that they
are only loyal to themselves and their backers. While all along the Russians
were being dissed for saying that there were strong fascist elements behind
the Kiev coup.

The Right Sector Militia, and the Ukrainian National Guard are not part of the Military chain of command. They answer ONLY to Yarosh and Andriy Parubiy, Secretary of the National Security and Defence Council of Ukraine.

The Right Sector militias have been called out (and Oleh Lyashko by name) specifically this week by Amnesty International for War Crimes, namely killing unarmed civilians and ethnic cleansing.

These are actually NAZI's, fighting under Nazi flags, and they call themselves "Social Nationalists" (not National Socialists).

They are believed to be behind the violence at the Maidan, and threatened to overthrow the government a couple of weeks ago, if Poroshenko accepted a Merkel/Putin negotiated ceasefire.

Their armed mob, the National Guard units "Kiev-1" and Kiev-2" are the armed enforcers that shut down and cleared the Maidan last weekend.

So these are the fascists that Putin says controls Kiev? Sounds like they are being persecuted by Kiev. If they march on Kiev it could be their undoing.
