UK police warn that sharing graphic images of journalist's beheading may be offence
SOCIAL media users have been warned that watching or sharing the gruesome video apparently showing journalist James Foley being beheaded may be a criminal offence. Scotland Yard released a statement reminding the public that the sharing of extremist material in the UK could be considered an offence under Terrorism legislation.

Twitter and YouTube are both suspending the accounts of anyone using the graphic images.

The Scotland Yard statement read: "The MPS Counter Terrorism Command is investigating the contents of the video that was posted online in relation to the alleged murder of James Foley. We would like to remind the public that viewing, downloading or disseminating extremist material within the UK may constitute an offence under terrorism legislation."

Typical Britain today. Terrorists can run around freely spouting their hatred and be treated like first class citizens, yet anyone wanting to see what they get up to can be arrested as a terrorist. Couldn't make it up.

Re: UK police warn that sharing graphic images of journalist's beheading may be offence
Now, who would want to share images except those that want to point out the fakeness of it. Its a beheading, like any other beheading, so unless people get a fix for watching every new beheading, which the masses don't, then what is the point of sharing this new one other than to warn other who want to fall for this story. And the government is all out to dissuade people who really want to spread the truth.
