the one thing i absolutely cannot stand, makes me want to go on a cross-country kitten-punching spree is when people say "government is INCOMPETENT", or "people who run this country are IDIOTS"

when you call government incompetent, or call them idiots you absolve every last one of them of their crimes. you let them off scott free. you literally give them a "get-out-of-jail-free" card.

stop calling them idiots, stop calling them incompetent. there isn't anything that happens that government isn't in full knowledge and in commanding control of.
