There is no such thing as "Northern Ireland" the area your referring to is part of Ireland and is currently being occupied by the British empire. This will not last forever and once again as it was for thousands of years previous to the invasions, Ireland will be united and free.

I like your sentiment tho historically Ireland and Scotland have had a close friendship and many peoples have travelled between our countries, and indeed there was a period in terms of territory when we were together but this was through culture and friendship rather than war, violence and occupation.
