Alberta has cases too. My nephew has it. They said foot mouth but it is enterovirus d68

It is actually a pretty common respiratory virus. its symptoms are mild except for children who have asthma. It was first discovered in 1962. I noticed that the newscasts grouped their reports of this virus AFTER they reported on the continuing problems with the Ebola infections...Gotta keep the sheep in a state of perpetual fear...

I don't think it is too dangerous. Just effects some bad and if it does go to the hospital. Now if these were ebola cases?

It's a VIRUS...so there is no vaccine to prevent it.

You have to let it run it's course like any virus. When i was a kid, i would get a cold or flu.. My mother was a nurse and she would never take me to the hospital for such a thing. She would let my immune system fight it. ..And anyway, there is not much you can do, antibiotics dont work on viruses since they are not bacterial.

Calm down, it's a rather common respiratory virus that has been around for half a century. It just sounds serious because of its technical name, "ENTEROVIRUS" then they add, 'D68' hmmm, well, it must be serious, lol.

It's a cold, a cold that has a lesser chance of turning fatal than your typical influenza strain.

As with most COLDS!!!! I cant count how many times I have had to start taking my inhaler again due to a ooooh wait for it "dreaded cold" same with my son. He every year needs to take a inhaler at least once with a cold.

ITS A COLD people, we get 5-6 of them a year. You'd think we'd be used to it by now.
