Quoting: angra mazda it is the practice of looking into people's iris and looking for abnormal patterns that let you know if there is a problem with certain parts of the body. my aunt practices this, and at the very least i can say it is a good general guideline to see if something is wrong. i believe that one of the founders of this practice once saw an owl with a broken leg. this owl had an abnormal pattern in his iris while his leg was broken. when the leg healed, his iris turned back to normal. i think this would be something everyone should at least be aware of. there are charts online of the eye, with areas labeled that indicate where a problem may lie if there is an abnormal pattern. do you guys have any thoughts or experiences with iridology? i would be interested to hear your opinions. [link to en.wikipedia.org] My eyes were clear blue when I was a kid but as I aged a lot of yellow/orange stuff accumulated around my pupils which, in iridology, is the place that represents the digestive system. Many years ago my gastroenterologist told me my digestive system was "nothing but scar tissue". Now my eyes are almost clear blue again after years of being on a gluten free vegetarian diet for many years and a few years of eating just raw vegan food. So, IMO, there is something to iridology. |
