True..plus viruses spread more in the winter. Just for the fact that people are inside together much more makes it more communicable.

Think of your fridge. When you keep the milk in the fridge, it lasts longer. When you leave it out it goes bad.

Bacteria is the stuff that makes the milk go bad. Viruses are like milk. They survive longer outside human bodies in the cold that preserves them.
