VIDEO: Yeah, Just What America Needs: A New Video Game That Celebrates The Ultra-Violent Mass Murder Of Innocent Human Beings

GTA doesn't "promote violence" any more than movies like "The Godfather" or "Scarface." It's telling a story about organized crime--a story which in many ways shows the consequences of such a lifestyle just as much as the glories of it.

The funny thing is, in GTA, there are plenty of good things you can do. You can help the cops track down and apprehend criminals. You can drive an ambulance and pick up sick people. There's nothing forcing players to do bad things. BUT, guess what EVERYBODY does when they start playing the game? They start beating the hell out of old ladies on the street and taking their money and picking up hookers and stuff.

And then they want to point their fingers at the people who made the game?

That game looks fun. I can't wait for its release

i prefer to go swim with Dolphins... on a tropical island, then go drink my coctail under a palmtree, feel the sun, wind breeze, with a loungy music, then go out later with friends...

then stay in a dark room, alone, and shoot people the whole night...

I saw this trailer, but honestly it's not much different than Shadow of Mordor where you are brutally killing uruks and orcs.

It seems like most of the games coming out are pretty violent. Call of Duty, Battlefield, etc...

You just have to remember that they are games.
