Same thing happened to me. now I am uninsured with no extra money to pay for health while the illegals get free care.

For the same money as you were spending on healthcare, you probably won't be able to buy one of the HNIC platinum, gold, or silver spans, but you may be able to purchase the wooden plan, that's just a step above the cardboard paln with a $45,000 deductible and you have to provide your own medical supplies.

I suggest investing in a sombrero and learn Spanish, then refuse to speak English when go to the ER.

Make sure to burn all your papers first, though. You might look a little too white.

Why should an employer be responsible for

Because its parts of what's called a "benefits package". it's part of why you take that job is because your offered these "benefits". Since your employer was nice enough to do this to you, you should ask to be compensated for the loss of your benefits with additional salary, this way you can afford one of the many gratuitous Oblamo-care policies.

It's part of the compensation package to attract and keep skilled workers...also big companies get a discount because of the number of people...but Obama fucked that all up, just like everything else.

That is why most countries just have universal health care so they don't have to deal with private insurance and businesses offering it. That way, at least self-employed people and the non-insurable are covered. It isn't perfect but it is something.

Comes November 5th we will all be dropped from our companies health care package. Then we'll be forced to take Obamas package up the ass.

Probably not. Some employers are just going to pay the extra tax. Cheaper and easier than covering people.

My brother has some gold plan and came home to an 9 thousand dollar bill for spending two days in the hospital for an emergency.
And thats on top of 20 thou a year for monthly payments.

The "benefits" package came about directly as a result of the income tax. Get rid of the income tax and benefits packages will go with them.
