Apple products are great and always help the user in every way. Therefore the phone probably bent to avoid jabbing painfully into the dude's gut. And it probably caught on fire because it detected that teh dude was getting too cold and it was trying to keep him warm. For the rest of his life.

Actually the iphone 6 is made out of aluminum to get the lightweight and bevel edges. Bending is a huge issue with this model from putting the phone in your back pocket and sitting down.

Aluminium when its aircraft grade, does not bend at that thickness. Its bloody strong stuff.
