A long time ago back when Germany was East and West, the western part had a facility in Zaire called OTRAG...Now this was a rocket company but it was also run militarily. They owned a huge plot of land...Ebola just so happens to have originated from this very same area...this place is considered by the former Soviet Union as a German Area 51, fyi, well depending where you read about it, anyway.
