It's down like 45% for the year and like 75% from it's high (approx numbers.)

The price won't continue to climb solely on trading and speculation...it has to be more widely used for purchase transactions and many websites that added it as a payment feature when it was climbing everyday have dropped it because it keeps falling.

This is actually spectacular for Bitcoin. Think of it as a twitter IPO opportunity. It will open the doors to a ton of investors, even China who was buying furiously before the crackdown. If approved this could make BTC go into the $100k+ range.

If any of them survive until Sept. I'm a little doubtful on their odds and their other 'friends' aren't looking much better.

been hearing that for years but Bitcoin is still around.
Been hearing for years that stockmarkets are in their next bubble but they are still climbing skyhigh.
Been hearing for years gold will rise to 8000 dollars an ounce but still it is around the 1200.

And then they say that telling the future is for the mad, well I guess the most mad ones are residing on wall street making tons of dollars by trying to predict the future.
