I'll explain real slow.
It seems that cops are not subject to the same laws everyone else is subjected to.

There is the possibility that because he is a cop he will be allowed to continue his criminal activities and remain a cop, which is not good for the people. If he were a plumber, he wouldn't be carrying a gun and arresting people, and would not get any preferential treatment the way cops do.
That's why it is important to point out when cops break the law.

If a plumber were charged with child porn, his bitch ass would be on the hood of a cop car and ultimately become the bestie of Bubba at the county lock up.

If a COP gets charged with child porn, he gets to go home and cry to his wife (or punch her) because he's a playground bully with a badge and a license to kill and, apparently, make child porn.

THAT'S why this is a big deal, because if dude had been average Joe, his bitch ass would be in jail - did you not see what happened to Stephen Powell, the father of Josh Powell (Dude who presumably offed his wife and then himself and his kids in a massive Oregon explosion)??

According to the arrest warrant and court documents, Officer Bradford is alleged to have inappropriately touched a 9-year-old girl as well as storing related images on his phone.

The Dallas Morning News reports that this happened while the 9-year-old girl was sleeping. The young girl later told police that she awoke to see Officer Bradford with his pants down. Her mother then contacted authorities, who obtained search warrants for Bradford’s cellphone and the contents of that cellphone on the day that he was arrested.
Bradford did not even spend the night in jail before being released.

Only three weeks ago, on December 23, 2014, Officer Bradford was, according to local WFAA, taken into custody on nearly identical charges. Still, that did not prompt his department to fire him.

Agreed, BUT in the USA one is still afforded the right of presumed innocent until proven guilty!

Whether he is a cop or not he is still allowed to have his day in court! Also, the Plano PD hasn't fired him because he hasn't had his day in court yet! They have removed his badge and gun and taken away his authority to enforce any law until his day in court! If he is found guilty he will be FIRED immediately!

As to being arrested twice, more than likely the second offense was discovered after his first arrest thus prompting the second arrest.

Cops without question should be held to a higher standard, but they don't lose their right of due justice because of it.

I have read countless times where cops have been found guilty of various offenses and have been given stiffer sentences solely because of the fact that they were a cop and knew better. So in the end if found guilty, this cop will be held to a higher penalty standard.

The system is the system and it must be equal for all!

At the very least he'll put a few more years in at the job and retire at full pension. Have known a few dirt bags just like him who did.

just because he has been accused and charged of a crime, he is not technically guilty until a judge and jury say so.

You are presumed innocent until PROVEN guilty. They can't fire an innocent man.
