Once we convert the electrical signals in our brains into a format we can put into our machines..

Well that is the event isn't it?

This is going to be quite a year..

Since greed is the name of the game these days. I'm concerned the average population won't be able to participate. I would love to have the choice.

The devils work shop and he has been busy with channels and new age, and making his bunch the creators of man, instead of something The Lord cause the flood to get rid of, he was mad and sound is right he has a big voice vibration. He repented of doing it and said, he would never do so again by flood did not say anything else. He could not reside with man anymore, talk to them the special ones but not like before the flood. The Lord God spoke to people and talked to people before the flood. Not the same as being man, but being with man.

Now you have all these demi-gods running around and people calling up demons which are the souls of the sons of the fallen. See people don't want to believe that, but they should look around, look how people are acting and leaders are sometimes almost hiding themselves.

Yea, we sure need tin gods don't we, get that tin god technocrats want to be a machine. There my be another explanation they are possessed by the fallen and they need a body, one that well live longer, cause they are not going to God unless he changes his mind. I am not God and he can do what ever he wants.

You know they were before the flood and after the flood, some of the one on the ship cared the blood or some thing we don't know about happened, spiritual warfare. Lord grant us the patience and understanding to make it through.

I have never seen so many hunt for anything to change the truth. Can't these be want was told, the records were after the flood not before.

Two groups the fallen and the men and women who followed the fallen instead of God and those that did not. It is happening again. That is why the story is repeating.

It is coming 360 degree back, to the beginning just different people. Then something not different.

I don't think there is anything wrong with it. I actually think that our merger with machine is why we are here.
We live in a world where the people responsible for the creation of the abnormal environment that we live in are telling those of us who see that it is abnormal, that it is we who are abnormal. I for one, am one of those who disagree.

Re: So what do we think about transhumanism?
I think that transcending our biological limitations will be a prerequisite for escaping this planet and viably exploring worlds currently inaccessible to us.

We're already seeing something of a bio-enhancement arms race via the pharmaceutical/chemical industry in our children.
Example: if Johnny's parents feed him piracetam or other even more powerful nootropics or focus enhancers before school each morning and his grades and test scores begin to markedly improve, and you, their neighbor, found out about it, would you do the same? You'd almost have to, especially in the competitive world of academics and education today. If you don't dose your kids similarly, you have to assume other parents will do it anyway, an now your kids are at a disadvantage, they might not get into the right school, get the right scholarship or internship, not get the career they 'deserve'...and it'll be your fault because you could have drugged them and made it possible.

This is happening right now, today, with things like ritalin, adderall, dexadrine, stratera, on and on. It's like bodybuilding but the steroids are legal, it makes it difficult to impossible to compete on the same level because everyone else is cheating.

Unfortunately I fear a transhumanist world would look somewhat the same. Sorry, you can't date my daughter without a brain interface. You can't work in this field without model x implants. We don't serve 'people' with synthetic limbs in this restaurant. You don't have camera eye implants, what are you trying to hide terrorist!

Gotta take the good with the bad in any revolution.

Er, well, to clarify - it will carry out our idealism more effectively. Hell, I'm almost convinced God/Aliens ARE our robot creators, but not exactly on point.

Good day.

Re: So what do we think about transhumanism?
The basic idea of improving the human condition is perfectly compatible with the Bible. In fact, it’s one of the purposes of a Christian lifestyle (John 10:10).

BUT, transhumanism contradicts the Bible when it assumes that humanity is completely sovereign and capable of self-directed change without the need for God (Jeremiah 17:9).

Like any other cultural movement, there are subsets and sub-genres of thought under the transhumanist tent. There are some admirable motivations behind transhumanism.

For some, the intent is to reduce suffering or improve quality of life (Luke 12:33).

Taken to an extreme, though, it can become a pursuit of immortality, an escape from moral boundaries, or a form of religion in and of itself. The ultimate redemption of mankind is something that will be accomplished by God alone (Revelation 21:1), not by technology. koolaid

No one will be throwing spirituality out of the trans-hu movement. Gots to have our watch dogs.

Interesting point about drugging kids up there though.

It's already happened and is happening now. It's the promise of the fallen angels for joining the rebellion; eternal life which is something we already have but their form is outside of the light of Gods creation (another dimension we call hell). For those that have joined up already they're participating in the corruption of mankind through what's commonly known as the "alien abduction" phenomenon which is nothing more than genetically modifying people to make soulless children.
