The retirees around here are impeccably dressed. All thin, well tanned and they look like they plan to be around until they are at least 200 hundred. The ladies and men have "had work" and the hair is dyed in the very expensive way.

Used to think "well they worked hard, they deserve a great retirement" until I heard one of them complaining about them not getting their SS check on time and him not getting his pension check on time and the fellow complainer saying they are on 3/4 pay and should be given a raise.

In comparison, the parents of my friends are in debt for student loans, parent loans and their kids have loans too. Have no savings whatsoever, nothing for retirement and are counting on social security which won't be there for them. These folks are in the 50 to 60 range. The glamorous retirees are in their 70's and 80's. They're the ones that cause this mess!
