We are an amazing part of a greater reality. So much mystery in our self-discover and journey with the whole of which we are parts.

OP, I agree with your post. I read Robert Monroe book Journeys Out of the Body, Michael Newton in life between lives regression, and Adventures Beyond the Body: How to Experience Out-of-Body Travel by William Buhlman found these and others very interesting and life changing.

After all, they are emotionally inexperienced, with
only a few years in which to store up the experiences
which you and I take for granted.

If we gift them with a past, we create a cushion or
a pillow for their emotions then consequently we
can control them better.

There is a reason why we don't remember and it actually makes a lot of sense when you look at the Earth Life Experience from a non-physical perspective. When we are here, we don't want to know about "there" because we have always been there.

From what I can remember of myself post-human and the motive to come into this experience system, go through many incarnations stems from the following.

1.) Before being human I was much like a geometric awareness field. How I existed was akin to a Mandlebrot Fractal swirling in a mosaic of geometrical triangles and lattices. This is largely because the thought-process was primordial in effect. So what I see, experienced and felt was very geometric. I was a self-repeating pattern that was self-aware, could think (but not in human words) and was ultimately bored with the static state. Something, somehow sent me information about this Earth experience place.

The sell was that it offered totally new patterns of experiences. All of which I had no idea about, so a very fresh opportunity, after all... I wasn't really productive in how I existed.

2.) When I entered into the system, it was like taking a major dose of spiritual acid, one hell of a trip. Obviously going from a simplistic monolithic state to having the high-resolution life experiences being human offered was really amazing.

3.) I didn't have to stop at just one experience, the system was an open system so I could go back as much as I wanted, but at a cost. The amnesia created by cutting off the post-human memory started to layer over until I completely forgot that I was part of this process. That old self was nearly erased in terms of memory.

4.) It would be in this life that I would start to remember this process. Start to see that being human meant having new experiences and the experiences themselves were fundamentally changing who I once was as a more monolithic entity.

5.) The death/rebirth cycle was no big deal, yes for the current human life it produced a fear. The personality represented in that life may have beliefs not privileged to knowing the larger reality that it was but once the death process completed, a new emerging awareness continued and it was in this recent return that I realized I am done with this human experience and didn't want to go back.

6.) Now that is why I am progressing back into non-physical memories and seeing the creative process driving reality from this non-physical perspective. Much more relaxed and open about the end result of being many human lifetimes as a collective set of experiences.

7.) We graduate, and that is where I am at... accumulate enough experience and move into new systems as there are many many more reality-systems to play, grow, evolve and even create.

So what I can tell for myself is that we/us/I have always existed, somehow for what ever reasons we are an eternal unending fractal awareness field that has the ability to create virtual reality [dreams-like] systems to create new patterns of experiences.

Lot of the motivation seems to break us from just stagnant repeating patterns of boredom.

When someone is here and they don't want to know; it's likely because they are new to the system and really honestly don't want to know. Knowing that truth may violate what they want to experience from that top-level awareness looking down. So by design and also by desire lots of us here really don't want to know (yet).

But then there are those of us who do but likely because we've been at this game for a long time, becoming seasoned veterans at being human.

And what we believe here really doesn't matter in the big picture, we eventually come back to the truth one way or another. It's part of that absolute unending cycle of who and what we really are as a seemingly infinite eternal and unending evolving awareness.

Here is Robert A Monroe talking about his experiences. I find this person to be one of the shining light of truth because so much of what he's experienced fits in with my own so I relate very much to what he's talking directly.
