The USA dollar would/will take at MINIMUM a decade (probably more) to take apart by TPTB....if that is the agenda.
At most we are 3-4 years into that.
There will be time to regroup and deal with issues.
The destruction of the dollar is not a "done deal"....yet.

Just assume that I missed school one day perhaps because of some trumped up sodomy charge. I'm sure it must be the one where they explained to everybody what 'equity' was because that is one of the few things I don't know.

I assume it has something to do with value but I can't figure out one would ship the value of an entire contenent to some place else.

I'm a little vague on 'collapse' too. Does it have something to do with wave functions or oceans?

It's really simple actually and has happened on smaller scales many times....and still does.

Despite where the USA Dollar is right now from OUR personal perspective, the Dollar has always traditionally been a SAFE HAVEN due to the stability of the USA government and it's economy.
The USA is stable....even under Obama when compared to how UNSTABLE the European Union and the EURO is.
...although Obama degrades it, and the USA, a little more each day.
Overall, the EURO is also perceived by many in Europe as a piece of paper, with no history, and with nothing backing it.
(You could argue that here too of course with no gold standard....but that is not the European or banking perception...so it's irrelevant to this conversation)


That said....bottom line....

When/if the Euro collapses the equity will flood into USA currency because of perceived and relative stability.
That means the USA DOLLAR grows greatly in strength comparatively to other currencies.
There is no other game in town for capital preservation on that scale.
Sure the Dollar may not be great itself from where we stand, but compared to the EURO?....the USA Dollar is the only place to go to preserve capital on currency market scale.
(...and before you even say it....not a chance in the world of their being enough gold to cover it.)

To put it another simple way as well...
Europeans are sure as hell are not going to buy/convert to Russian rubles when it has lost 1/2 it's value already.
There are no other options....USA Dollar FTW.
