When they came home, they gave a sympathy card and a chocolate bar. It was too funny and so touching at the same time. All because they knew how very much Spock meant to me. I have well over 250 1st edition Star Trek novels, Star Trek role playing game, signed autograph picture and book from Nichelle Nicoles and pictures with her - she is a very sweet person and talked with me for a long time, autographed picture of Walter Koenig and pictures with him - he is a very bitter man, many Star Trek glasses, a cardboard full size stand up cut out of Spock for the movie In Search Of Spock, Xmas ornaments of the Enterprise & Spock, lots of smaller things and my pride and joy - ORIGINAL, still in package Spock ears. There is a theory which states that if ever anyone discovers exactly what the Universe is for and why it is here, it will instantly disappear and be replaced by something even more bizarre and inexplicable. There is another theory mentioned, which states that this has already happened. |

At least for me Leonard Nimoy, or more appropriately Spock is in actuality a focal point with the gravity to pull in so many connected memories. The power of logic spiced with emotion is somehow a reflection of myself. There are moments when a confluence of memories can just make you cry with such a mix of joy, sadness, fear, regret, amazement, infatuation and bewilderment. I am so thankful for all the things in my life that led me to the feelings of this moment. As I approach the winter of my life nostalgia seems to render itself in ever increasing chunks.
