Absolute BS. Tax-payers have already paid for naval ships which could transport the equipment home. No extra labour costs - maybe some extra fuel costs.

We left it to poison the nest as such. Give them the old and worn out toys (not really dangerous as compared to say an MLRS) to kill each other with. Seems to be working well huh? ISIS and such.

I promise we brought the good stuff back. I know, I had to rail-head back to Kuwait and load some sensitive EQ on a Navy hauler, then escort it back to Germany so the sailors didn't play with it and kill themselves. Nothing pissed that Naval Captain off more than 4 side arm packing soldiers on his vessel, who were not under his command, didn't have to follow his orders and even told him to gtfo out of his own cargo bay.

so what did you want them to do, train the Iraqis then leave the country and take all the equipment the Iraqis trained with and are using?

how would that work? if you train somebody and supply them with equipment, you can't take the equipment off them when you leave!

And then they will spend 5 times that purchasing replacements from the military industrial complex!!!!!!
