LOL, he didn't need to go all the way to Syria, could have filled out an application at Langley.

So, he is being charged because

-He wanted to travel to Syria (could be for any reason, I hear the women are beautiful there)

-He had a cellphone with a photo of a machine gun (90% of GLP would also be guilty of terrorism)

-He apparently had a letter in his laptop quote "I will use the talents and skills given to me by Allah to establish and defend the Islamic States" (why would he have that?)

-He had ISIS videos on his laptop (again 90% of GLP would be guilty)

-He converted to Islam (it's interesting how this is considered a prerequisite to extremism)


ISIS must be desperate, retarded or the most confident organization in history to just willingly accept anyone from anywhere to join their ranks. Do they do background checks, how do they know someone who supposedly wants to join them is not CIA, MI5 or Mossad? Is there an ISIS employment building in Syria? Do they have an application you fill out? Benefits? If they hate the west so much, why would they allow anyone from their to join them?

We are treading dangerous waters when average folks, patriots and veterans are being "charged" with wanting to join an organization that is highly suspicious in its origins and purpose.
