I fear the days of Israel are numbered

Today's election in Israel was more important than just Benjamin Netanyahu being re-elected. Why? It showed that the country of Israel was more unified than the United States of America. A country who over the past 67 years has stood firmly beside the country, offering their hand to protect the people and the land from enemies near and far.
Today's election showed how far our government has fallen from their promise to protect them and the people of that nation. Our President and Valeri Jarrett did almost everything they could to undermine and change the outcome of this election, but the people listened to those who promised to protect and preserve their nation.
Now, I fear that we will see this county forced into a battle against their once sworn friend. Not by our physical hand, but by those who they control.
Over the past five years, we have watched and waved as country after country in the Middle East has been pushed into chaos. Democratically elected and powerful dictator directed regimes have been over turned to the point that small organizations of Islamic gangsters have taken over large portions of territory that threaten the Nation of Israel like no other time since their birth in 1948.
Now, with up a known Iranian dissident living in the White House, a woman who has strong Islamic beliefs and ties to the Islamic regime in Iran, the last option has been placed into their lap.
Iran, who recently has moved their Revolutionary Guard into position in Iraq to confront ISIS has made statements that the Persian gov't fully intends to bring the Islamic Republic to Iraq and make Bagdad as its capital.
They are one step closer to being used as a pawn in the game against toppling Israel as a country.
Unless, Israel does a first strike against multiple countries I fear that Iran will move west, through Syria, into Lebanon and through the Golan Height to attack the country. I don't believe they will be allowed to use Jordanian air space against such an attack, mainly because, the Jordanian government believes that Israel is a lynch pin to maintaining semi-quasi peace throughout the region. (Jordan will remain neutral)
Egypt, is not a friend of Israel and with ISIS as well as other militants now in control of Libya, the northern African nations will counter with additional support, both air and boots. Israel will be in for a battle of survival.
This won't be a Gaza type battle where a few infantry units will be allowed to go into the country with he help of air support, they will need every man, woman and child to defend the country. Their entire survival will be on the line, unless the act first.
This might be the scariest time, since 1948 for this young nation. The coming days and weeks will be interesting to watch. The plan by our government has been in the works for years, there isn't much we can do about it from our homes, we've elected the judgement and all we can do is wait it out and see it play out. Unfortunately for the world, the ultimate ramifications could see it the backlash come to our backyard.
