Well, it isn't an opinion. It is fact. All a person has to do is look at the history of Easter. It is not Christian hence the bunnies, eggs, chicks and even the name of the pagan goddess easter or astarte(i think that is the spelling). It is a pagan fertility celebration.

I think with money hidden in those eggs that the parents would be really diligent in helping their kids find those eggs.LOL

I think some people know but they don't care. But I find it interesting that Christians would be celebrating something pagan. I don't find it surprising though knowing that Constantine merged pagan and Christian customs together for political reasons and it just stuck. I suppose you could say that their churches are misleading them.

You know, I bet that are many people who still don't know this about Easter or any other holiday. They just follow wherever the winds blows. There could be some light bulbs going off and some ah ha moments. I'll have some moments tomorrow when the candy goes on sale. These are what these holidays are good for.LOL
