Sloth, Few know what it means, Many practice it...One of the 7 Deadly sins

Sloth is defined as spiritual or emotional apathy, neglecting what God has spoken, and being physically and emotionally inactive. It can also be either an outright refusal or merely a carelessness in the performance of one's obligations, especially spiritual, moral or legal obligations. Sloth can also indicate a wasting due to lack of use, concerning a person, place, thing, skill, or intangible ideal that would require maintenance, refinement, or support to continue to exist.

This also covers but is not limited to; Gossip, Spreading false truths and/or Rumors.
Every Friggin' water cooler has these scumbags congregated together and telling stories about other employees that are not there to defend and/or refute these out right character assassinations.
I for one am sick of it. I just fired two employees I heard talking about a new girl I had hired. I grew up with her father and we both retired Navy.
I tel my employees, "I will not tolerate gossip!", " Pure and simple". i think they get it now.
I really don't care if the rumor, or tale is true. If you want to talk about another person then I will cal all three of us in my office and you can tell your gossip to all three of us. Works every time! Stops the B.S. around the watering hole.
