I will keep on praying and asking the Lord Jesus Christ for help, it does seem to be getting better but is bad when I first get into bed and when I first wake up. Its also bad when I do anything physically strenuous or go out into the cold.

Could be a lung cancer. My dad in law was coughing for weeks. Turned out to be a tumor pressing against major airway....

Anyway, it could be anything but it seems for the most part, it has to do with vitamin D deficiency. Happened to me literally every winter/spring till I started taking 5,000 IU of vitamin D3 supplement a day and it never happened again for the past 7 years.

Actually, my dad in law had to get cat scan because x-ray didn't really show anything. It was right behind the heart.
