because the mass spying of all internet traffic is a red herring. It does not work. they can get targeted tidbits, but there is simply not enough storage in existence to capture every packet that crosses the net. Hell, it couldn't even capture all of the important legit intel either. Look how long silk road lived. it only came down through hard work and manual gumshoe labor. Mass collection and spying on a level that people are told to believe simply does not exist. They can compile a lot of intel from various data sources, but the info people have been spewing about seeing everything is flat out false. Realistically, only about 1% of national data throughput can be stored, processed and analyzed in an intelligible manner. Think row boat in the middle of the atlantic proportions here...

if you don;t believe me please look up the info on brute force attacks and why passwords any longer than about 16 characters or so can never be brute forced....

They aren't glorifying the US government. Read it again. They are saying the data that zips around the US is far too much to do anything worth while with. Only a SMALL portion can be mined and analyzed to the point of being useful.

I do understand that they are making that claim, I just don't believe them. Too many people assume that they know what technology is available to the New World Order. We don't know.

Every once in while, they reveal some "new tech" as if it's cutting edge, and to us it is, but not to them. We don't live in their world.

I will never believe the news media or the govt. They do give us clues sometimes, but we must piece those clues together to understand the bigger picture.
