Its an imperial peach ipa. that beer is tasty. odells is awesome. they took their double black ipa and aged them in tequila barrels. I go to this mexican place in town and the owner is cool he knows a guy who brews beer and let me try a ghost pepper stout. and it wasnt that bad. I have been a fan lately of sour beers. odells got the Brazzle. Raspberry sour. mmmmm. [link to odellbrewing.com] |

I'm in Mexico right now and believe it or not, these motherfuckers can brew! If you get a chance, check out Cucapa (brand with many types), Insurgente (also a brand many types but you should luck for Rey Cobra - Puro Veneno (King Cobra - Pure Poison)), and Tiniebla.. I am not joking, Mexico probably has a better overall artesenal beer scene than the US.. The US has more choices, but Mexico's choices are higher quality. I'd say about 80% of the atersenal beer here is absolutley outstanding, instead of just decent and trendy. Have you ever tried Bischoff? I think it's German.. Fucking AMAZING and another favorite of mine that's hard to find in the states, they have 3 or 4 types, the black lager and the other lager are simply phenomenal. Salud! |

It sounds better than it tastes, not as good as the New Glarus Cherry Lambic, but better than the Amana Cherry Ale I had a few months ago. I'll not get this again, I'll stick with the New Glarus or Belgium lambics. Sam Adams makes a chocolate cherry stout, rare and hard to find, an outstanding cherry brew. Quoting: Bill Brewski 69500995 Next is an old favorite, Samuel Smith Organic Chocolate Stout, four pack is $10. All the Samuel Smith beverages are outstanding, from their ciders to lagers to stouts, they far exceed most everything else, there's really no need to ever drink any other brand, but as they say, variety is the spice of life. Then is a six of Konig Pilsner for $7.50, a very good German Beer. But to be honest, bad German beer is better than most all American beer. The worst German beer I've ever had is Parkbrau, which is still better than 95% of our nation's brew. Do any of you you drink light beer? I don't understand that, light beer is for ladies and homos. Are you really that calorie conscious, Mary? Are you really that gay, Goosey Brucey? Listen up, beer is meant to be enjoyed for it's flavor and nutritive value. Hey, if you want to get drunk on a minimum of calories, Liberace, drink vodka or whiskey neat. |
