Here you already need a license, a background check, a medical examination and a chat with a senior police officer to get a gun.

Insurance is not a bad idea. It won't stop anyone from going nuts with a gun, but it would help any victims or their relatives to get decent compensation.

This is the point of these type of terror attacks, to further a political movement. Libtards would benefit most from this, so just like when the cops question the poor widow who just collected the insurance money; my suspicions look toward the current regime in charge.

I can walk into a car dealership, take a Hummer for a test drive and run over dozens of people before I'm stopped. It doesn't mean that having a mandatory vehicle insurance is a bad idea.

Gun sales should be taxed to death, come with a mandatory insurance, and any license applicant should submit to a mandatory psych evaluation annually. Owning a gun is even less essential than owning a car. It should be seen as a privilege, not as a right.

Bet more natives were killed by other natives as a whole then by white and yes even black people. Just as there were black slave owners were treated the slaves worse than white slave owners. As for the OP people shouldn't have to jump through hoops just to be able to protect themselves, their supposed property(paying tax on something you own and then, having it taken away if said taxes aren't paid kind of makes one wonder if they can truly own anything). Most people who are going to commit a crime with a gun aren't going to go through all the hassle of obtaining one legally and the transaction of the sale if one is used in a crime should be enough to lead even the dimmest of law enforcement officers down the right track.
