Part of what I like about living in Moldova is that I get to celebrate Christmas twice.

December 25th and the Orthodox Christmas which is on January 6.

and EASTER.. they really do up Easter here...it is a bigger celebration than Christmas.

It seems like most American Jews are as into Christmas as the rest of us. Some even do a Hannukah AND a Christmas celebration. When I was growing up we had a couple of Jewish families living on our block, and they decorated their homes with lights and Christmas trees just like the whole rest of the Country, and their kids stood in line to sit on Santa's lap and left him out cookies and milk on Christmas Eve.

good, maybe he can make the schools respect Christmas and Easter again, I'm sick of the tip toeing around our schools here do to not offend the mooslems. I can't wait to see Merry Christmas again in school newsletters, celebrating Christmas with a christmas tree in schools and Santa visits to the younger students. I had to yell at our school when they called Easter "spring holiday" yet sent happy EID papers home..Im in cook county Illinois..makes me sick the liberal BS going on.
