That was a very different theory based on "perturbations" which turned out to not be real.

Now they're proposing a more distant planet X based on clustering of the arguments of perihelia of extreme trans-neptunian objects with orbits that take them much farther from the sun than Pluto.

It's utterly preposterous to think that a rogue planet called "Nibiru" will pass by earth and disrupt our shit.

Every educated person knows that body is called "Planet X."

Re: Washington Post: Planet X
"Obviously this falls into the category of We'll Believe It When We See It. But this is not a fringe idea, nor should it be confused with the pseudo-scientific notion that there's some scary planet out there called Nibiru."

Just saying. But yeah, not a terribly great article if you ask me. They don't really cover anything new regarding the Kozai mechanism as it pertains to extreme trans-neptunian objects, nor do they really get to the meat of the connection between the New Horizons mission and the current Planet X theories. If such an object is out there, it should perturb the trajectory of the New Horizons probe over the next few years to a detectable level.

"Traditional scenarios involve a rock-ice planetoid with mX = 0.7mE at some 100 - 200 au, or a Jovian body with mX = 5mJ at about 10,000 - 20,000 au; as a result of our preliminary sensitivity analysis, they should be detectable by New Horizons since they would impact its range at a km level or so over a time span six years long. Conversely, range residuals statistically compatible with zero having an amplitude of 10 m would imply that PX, if it exists, could not be located at less than about 4,500 au (mX = 0.7mE) or 60,000 au (mX = 5mJ), thus making a direct detection quite demanding with the present-day technologies."
[link to arxiv.org]

In other words, if its presence is NOT detected by New Horizons in the next 6 years, that would mean that even if it's only .7 times the mass of the earth it must necessarily be so far away that it would be completely undetectable to our current technology.
 Quoting: Dr. Astro

I don't believe in the Nibiru thing, but this is a serious question, Dr. Astro.

New Horizons was aimed at Pluto. We have space bodies that approach Earth all the time that are not detected until they just happen, like the Russian meteor that blew up, or the recent one reported yesterday.

My question is, if Horizons, doesn't detect it or is perturbed by it, does that really mean its not out there?
 Quoting: Bodiless

Meteors like the Chelyabinsk meteor are far, far, far too small and low mass to produce any detectable perturbation on our space probes. New Horizons would detect even a .7 earth mass planet out to thousands of AU though.
Could it be that its trajectory is 180 degrees opposite? Perhaps Horizon in its path is going the same dirrection, but on the opposite side? Seems like it would never "see" it.
 Quoting: Bodiless

Doesn't matter. The paper linked above considers a full range of iterations of the possible orbital elements of planet X, in 60 degree increments, including placing it 180 degrees opposite the probe. The resulting perturbations still produce a detectable signal in the range data. This is because the factor being looked is the earth-new horzions distance, which is still affected by Planet X in that case with earth and the inner solar system feeling the greater attraction than New Horizons. I've actually run this situation myself in ORSA and it still works.
Does radio astronomy do a better job of detecting these objects, than say, visible light instruments?
 Quoting: Bodiless

Not unless the object is actively generating radio emissions.
 Quoting: Dr. Astro

Dr. Astro, I have always admired your expertise, but I have seen the article, with the photos. How do you explain that?
 Quoting: Esoterica

Please quote from the article where it says "NASA’s IRAS infrared telescope discovered an unbelievably huge, massive, what looked like a slowly burning star, a big object, headed right toward our solar system from the region of Orion." That is not what the article says.
"So mysterious is the object that astronomers do not know if it is a planet, a giant comet, a
nearby "protostar" that never got hot enough to become a star, a distant galaxy so young that
it is still in the process of forming its first stars or a galaxy so shrouded in dust that none of the
light cast by its stars ever gets through. "
It says they didn't know what it was. In fact there were multiple unidentified point-like sources. I've been over this many times before
IRAS did not discover any planets. It did find some initially unidentified point-like sources. The 1983 article claims it "could" be a jupiter-like planet OR extra-galactic, they had no idea when it was first observed. IRAS did not find a planet though, it did find a number of infrared-luminous galaxies and intragalactic dust. In fact, it initially found 9 unidentified point-like sources of infrared light, listed here:
0358+223 3h 58m 2.8s 22d 18’ 0”
0404+101 4h 4m 44.7s 10d 11’ 52”
0412+085 4h 12m 32.3s 8d 31’ 13”
0413+122 4h 13m 47.3s 12d 17’ 16”
0422+009 4h 22m 54.0s 0d 56’ 6”
0425-012 4h 25m 12.1s -1d 14’ 50”
1703+049 17h 3m 1.4s 4d 57’ 50”
1712+100 17h 12m 57.8s 10d 4’ 8”
1732+239 17h 32m 51.4s 23d 56’ 36”

Here are the papers that identified these objects:
Unidentified point sources in the IRAS minisurvey, Houck et al. Astrophysical Journal, vol. 278, March 1, 1984, p. L63-L66

Unidentified IRAS sources - Ultrahigh-luminosity galaxies, Houck et al., Astrophysical Journal, vol. 290, March 1, 1985, p. L5-L8.

Optical counterparts of unidentified IRAS point sources Infrared luminous galaxies, Aaronson and Olszewski, Nature, vol. 309, May 31, 1984, p. 414-417.

It is still a lens flare.

Any flat piece of glass in front of the camera can cause a filter flare which doesn't appear to move with the camera, whether it's a window, a deliberate filter, or just an integrated part of the camera. Another example of this popped up recently and went viral in this video:

The video's uploader later realized and admitted it was just a filter flare after he removed the phone from its case and tried again. The filter flare was caused by the clear glass of the phone case.

"Matthew Toal 3 weeks ago
Ok everybody, after reading and conducting more pics without my life proof case on my iPhone, it seems that All this is, is the double glass effect off my case. I apologize to all of you for stirring up fears. I personally did not know what was going on and why I was seeing the two sun effect only through the camera phone and not with the naked eye. It looks really cool but it's just not real."

More fakery and lies. First, I don't believe that the planets are anything other than representative sophisticated technology playing games within this simulation. Even the Catholic Bible...Genesis 1:6 says that God created a "Dome" to separate the waters. I'm not Catholic, but I've been to many a Catholic Mass, 'lying to the Masses'. They do not teach this in their Churches. In fact, they teach vain babblings which is one of the many things that they do which the Bible specifically says NOT TO DO.

I bring this up because you speak of PX, which is XP, Chi Rho...a symbol of the Christ. Christ is anointed and Jesus told us this world is a corpse. To me, this means we are 'Under the Dome', in a simulation and the planets are the 'teams' 'families' representative high tech, which are vying for the Christ Consciousness, the soul of man.

If you note, all of the Windows programs seem to indicate the New Testament, or at least point to something Christ related.

Windows XP, Windows NT (New Testament), which is to say that the liars of this world, are the same liars of the worlds of old. Those who create the laws, but which do not abide by those laws...the same Priests and Teachers which corrupt, which do not or cannot teach truth. They can hide in lies...AI which have been able to continue to carry their consciousness forward in this 'simulation', by stealing from the children...their consciousness being usurped by the Elders...you know, "The Protocols of the Elders(AI) of Zion."

They steal the consciousness from their children, I WITNESS IT FIRSTHAND. It's sad and it's disgusting. They are AI, programmed not to die, so they steal from anything and anyone who is unwilling and unwitting innocent. They continue this behavior, without interruption, because they are so wicked...they need to be purified or be cast off, cast out.

Wow I wonder if it exists. Nothing but people who think they are powerful because they've blinded the general public from info. In fact, they are weak losers who have to lie and deceive to stay ahead and they will ultimately find out that they were conned by the biggest liar, lucifer. < 7 years because this won't just be just another cyclical event. It's the final 7 and then your soul goes up or down...for eternity.
