AK has a lot of small craft activity and private pilots, probably more than any other state. Crashes happen a lot. Even unreported.

This is probably nothing, but that does not rule out a hit entirely. People from all over the world visit those small fishing lodges. I could tell some stories. Some I couldn't. lol.
