Hmmmm, hard to say, how about a B.A.R.? Nice. I go with an AK, over and M-16, but there are some real nice new ones out there, shear numbers, battle reliability, good firepower, I still like an AK.

The steyr? Never battle tested.Although the Australians adopted it and they may be doing some duty?

Had a friend that bought a Henry lever action 45 mag I think....he sent it back and after the third one he said the heck with it....the ejector kept falling out of it.

.22s are fun.....have a Savage semi but I am impressed with the .17....like shooting a dart and very accurate at 100 yds.

And the best .22 ammo is the Stinger...something like 1740 FPS compared to normal 1200 with other brands.

Naturally the ak is #1. I have much love for the Steyr even though it isnt battle tested. I remember seeing a video of one beind used from a Huey. Cool stuff.

I've owned a few HK 94's and they are without a doubt the biggest piece of shit,and utterly not fun to shoot.
Stamped metal receivers were thin and flimsy,not even mentioning the blowback system is filthy and throws shit in your face..
Of course the newest gear they have is far better,but HK's older shit is just that! shit!! Fabrique Nationale made far superior rifles and still do today than the HK engineers could muster.

Gimme an M14 any day,,now that's a man's rifle...I can knock a cat in half at 300 yds with open sights and mil standard ammo.
