Country music is the same as Rap music

Today, it has degraded itself into that kinda trash.
It wasn't always this way.
I long for the golden days of Randy Travis, Dwight Yoakam and Patty Loveless, and Jennings & Nelson before them.
Now it's just pop-rock/rap with a twang, sorta like Matchbox 20 but of far lesser quality.

I guess thats what happens when people become idols for driving left in an oval better than their neighbor.

old school country is the on ly way to listen to country. would rather listen to rap than new country.

Imagine mixing the two genres. Very few people can do this (Garth Brooks tried it and failed miserably.) The one person I can think who has made an impressive transition from rap to something else is Queen Latifah. The first video is one of her older rap vignettes. The second video is one of her doing a more recent cover of Brazilian jazz.
