wonder if anyone else has dreams about being in some kind of a 'library' - I ended up writing a novella centered around it... www.amazon.com/Heavy-Poodles-Ian-Fraser/dp/1500941638/

Re: Does anyone here go to strange planets in their dreams?
I've been to a few.. Mostly ice places. This time I was on some strange planet, there was water and three people in a tunnel. This something happened to flush out the tunnel. Next there were dark clouds moving in from one side of the sky like nighttime moving in rather than dawning. One guy said something about how the planet was not a whole planet, I forget what he said exactly but it made it seem like it was 1/3 of a planet, that we couldn't actually travel around it because we were stuck on that one specific part no matter where we went we would always end up right there. So there was more of the planet I guess but something stopped us from exploring more. Anyways when the dark clouds moved in and began to cover the whole sky we got this feeling that something happens at nighttime that you don't want to be out at night on the planet. So we covered up.

I've been to a kind of library. It was illuminated silver by the moon. There was one person in the library and one person or maybe two outside of view watching. They were floating I think. I was looking at a bible and there was a smart phone inside.. Weird. I seemed to be doing something I wasn't supposed to, and they knew what my intentions were. Then there was a black woman with cool hair. she was in chains and she was talking with her tongue non stop I guess. It was strange, it seemed like she was chanting something almost rapping to create an affect. It was a very cool visual.

Re: Does anyone here go to strange planets in their dreams?
They all felt like Earth, but it did seem like it was different dimensions. I've been to places that are much more run down, much more built up. I've been in training rooms for flying. I've been given space maps and traveled to dusty rundown planets before. I've gone to the majestic mountains and visited with the elders before. The time I went to the other planet, we had a map that was cylindrical and you pulled out a three dimensional map of different stars and planets and coordinates. I've built a whole city in my dreams over the course of my life, and have been there several times, and to many different areas there. Not to be be confused with places I've been, rather than constructed. Not to be confused with visions...those give information, as opposed to deciphering information in them [dreams]. Realize there are differences between dreams, visions, and the places you go during meditation.

I have been to many galaxies in different universes, different types of civilizations....Also been abducted and taken to certain planet and put in closed land areas with other abductees from here. The land area has a field of energy surrounding it. This planets are usually coppery and so are the skys.

Well a few nights ago I had a vivid dream, what else is new.. in it I looked up at the sky and saw a shockingly large plane in the sky, but it wasn't really a part of the astral aspect of the dream, as in it wasn't as clear.. It was more like a portrait in the sky and the plane was coming through a sort of mist, like maybe through another dimension perhaps. It looked like it was getting so close to the ground that if it landed I could only think about how disruptive this would be. but as the dream moved on the plane wasn't REALLY moving, it was mostly getting closer if that makes sense? I think It looked the way it did perhaps because this represents the future. It was a "hoooooly shit" glassesoff moment when I saw it. I kept pointing at it to this guy looking at me, but he wouldn't turn around and look up at it. But then the dream kind of changed as in the portrait sky disappeared and there was a plane that was now very vididly part of the dream but like the middle part of the wings and parts of the body were completely invisible. It was floating in front of houses and unloading guns for 5 minutes straight on the homes. I didn't actually see any damage happening to the houses, though. It was really confusing. I do remember the feeling of looking at that large plane in the sky, though. Really just awe.

Once. Purple sky with two dimly lit suns. Water and what appeared to be volcanic rocks.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 70514921

Do you remember how you got there?

I once dreamed of a space battleship, hundreds of times the size of aircraft carrier, heavily damaged after a battle, trying to crash-land on a rocky, uninhabited planet.

The chaos, people running all over the place, trying to reach escape pods in time, fighter crafts launching hastily all over the ship, abandoning it just as it was entering the planet's atmosphere...

The feeling of impending disaster, shared by all the people on that ship, was what got me to remember that dream in such detail.

On a different note, I wonder if anyone remembers seeing the first off-Earth colonization attempt. Giant circular room filled with sleep chambers, thousands of them on multiple levels, people busily going around, military-organization feel to it...

... so many memories lost, only fragments left to piece it all together while there's still time...
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 70554551

Maybe that wasn't a different planet but just an earlier event in Earths history that you remembered.

Doesn't seem like another planet. It's like another realm.

Presumably independent of time and space. The story never ends there...

Actually of late i am having intense dreams featuring people i havent seen for 20 plus yrs. One great dream featured a workmate who died 15yrs ago, another an ex fiance from 20yrs ago that i found out died of cancer a few yrs ago - that was also nice :-)

I get lots of weirdness in dreams, lots of wrongness but nothing bad lol

At least i always come out the good guy. I always seem to be helping for some reason?

Lots of end of world shit but i put that down to threads read before bed lol

Has anyone met the Golden Beings?

Kevin (Draco)(RIP), several years ago, said that he had interacted with Golden Beings.

I never have dreams like you people do. Does that mean that I don't have a soul? Does it mean that I'm a new soul? Does it mean that I'm just a heavy sleeper?

In fact, I rarely have a dream that I remember at all. The only odd dream that I can remember was that I was in a Huge old rock house/structure. It had many many rooms, but there was nobody there but me. It was plain, simple, but multi-story castle size. outside the door was grass, no patios or transition construction.
I don't have the time or the crayons to explain this to you.

No. No water world for me. As far as the elders, there's a commercial for W.O.W. where there is a scene with people in a circle high up in the mountains...kinda just like that. Me and another boy were being, uh, escorted up to this round gathering place...Heavenly. I was as a young child, and we were told by one of the three elders.....very tall, shiny as light straight glowing white garment with gold belt...to go play. He did, I felt more comfortable standing with the elders at which time, all the rest of the elders-23 to 24 in total-came in to greet me. We were then "escorted" out of the mountains then I woke up.

No - but I am flying/airborne quite a lot.

And I dream about places, NOT people. Desolate settings - sometimes the same setting more than once. Desolate streets with no one - but empty streets and empty buildings. I am always looking for life - walking, walking, walking.

Then I fly and am not afraid at all to just jump off and fly and it feels good.

Th-Th-Th-Th-Th-hat's all folks.
 Quoting: Ms. Superduper

I have had similar dreams to that too.

The most vivid, I have posted here before.

It was a hot Summers night and I wake up in the early hours of the morning to hear lots of noisy people outside.
Looking out of the window, the sky is full of UFOs with bright lights in the sky, all of the people are outside in the street looking at the UFOs.

I felt really sleepy, like someone had drugged me and fell straight back to sleep. The next morning I woke up and everyone had disappeared.

Other dreams I am with small groups of people, trying to make the planet safe. We travel around the towns and cities making sure that electricity and gas is shut off everywhere and chemical drums are secure.

The sky is very dark blue but bright, like this

I really like this thread! hf

Yes, both in dreams and meditations and while up, then waking after being pulled somewhere.

There are planets, and planets that you suspect are technology, but function as a planet and filled with abundance, council meeting there. Got invited/pulled through a blue type of portal there. Then woke up in my shower again.

Station by the sun, asteroid I believe past Saturn, huge inside, little rocky thing outside, gardens and lush, with medical areas, restaurant, walkways, a kind of presentation conference meeting room.

Cities in space, many levels.

Re: Does anyone here go to strange planets in their dreams?
Not in dreams, but I've been to other planets at night sometimes. Venus, Arcturus, and a couple of others.

The two most memorable .... one, I was on a 3D planet like earth, but not quite. So weird! They had different clothes, food, plants .... and only one person could see me! A young boy. He was bug-eyed, and thought I was an angel. It took awhile to convince him where I was from. He whispered: 'Are you really an Earthian?' He looked awed and excited, saying, "I *knew* you were real!" He asked me what Earth was like. I felt ashamed to tell him, and just said, 'It's different from your world.'
On his planet, they didn't believe that there was life on Earth. He believed it, that was why he was able to see me! It gave me a lot of food for thought, that visit. Gives me a weird feeling, to know that somewhere out there, a boy must have drawn pictures of me, maybe he will write a book, 'The day I met an Earthian'! I'm sure he'll never forget it.

On the same planet, I found myself in what seemed to be a family home. I felt really awkward, and nervous, but then saw that nobody could see me. I wondered why I was there. Then I heard a child, and floated into a room, where a little girl was being read a story: about this mythical planet, 'Earth.' When the parents went out, they were laughing quietly: 'So sweet ...... hahaha, she really believes that Earth is real.' I was so indignant! I shouted, 'Yes it IS real, I've just come from there!!' But they couldn't see or hear me.

Second weird one - I don't know where the heck I went, but I found myself in a crowd, at some kind of big parade, on a world of tall bird-people, they had sort of plumes on their head. It was like some special important ceremony, and they were taking it incredibly seriously, it was hard not to laugh. I doubted they could perceive me, anyway. But I saw bird-heads turn to my direction, and started feeling uncomfortably Watched, so I thought, 'Uh-oh, I'd better get out of here' - and I woke up. I still don't know where that was!
Many, many worlds out there, and they all freak you out a little bit, there is always the slight panicky feeling of "What if I get stuck here and can't get back to earth?!"
