Actually, I have a very clear idea what socialism is--sort of a life long hobby.

The US is now far more "socialist" than Nazi Germany was.

I grew up in the US while no politician would dare even hint at ripping up the Constitution and Bill of Rights. It is now a common occurrence--and the Bill of Rights is all but gone.

If Democrats ever get their way in confiscating weapons from law abiding productive citizens of this nation, then we will see all the glory socialism has to offer.

A tip for you; communism has never existed on this planet..yet-- either by its definition or the possibility of its existence as explained by its founders and foremost champions (the prerequisites were never met). What the world has endured many times is varying degrees of socialism.

Unrestrained socialism has proven itself to be far more counter productive and destructive than unrestrained capitalism ever has (both are very bad, but one is worse).

BTW, I consider it an impossibility that Russians are more controlled than Americans at any strata of society.
