For instance, the woman who posted this evening about her Mum passing was met with exceptional kindness. Often GLP can be viewed as a fight club full of absolutely insane individuals. Often threads are filled with incredibly rude, frequently hateful comments..... But that is part of the landscape, and I fully confess being one who has participated in the pile ons.... But the nice thing is that when someone adds a serious thread, posting about something deeply troubling or painful, the vast majority of people in this community reach out and extend kindness. That is simply awesome. I just thought I would take a min and articulate these thoughts.  |
