Cars don't have closets. You don't just disrobe every time you drive. Driving is short distance usually. And for the most part, some of us like it cozy warm all the time. I like my furnace on and unless I could afford to keep the whole house at 80 plus degrees, often have my coat on indoors.

I was just getting ready to go out into the freezing cold, when I came across your thread. I'm heading to the hardware store, which is maybe 2 miles away. There is no way I am disrobing all the winter garb I'm covered in, only to have to put it all back on in less than 5 minutes, upon my arrival at the hardware store. Makes no sense.

Some prima donna, Starbucks sipping, snob cut you off on the road today, OP? If so, sorry to hear, but I promise... all of us bundled up in the car, really aren't that bad.
